WAREHOUSE LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

Location: Oakville, ON

GEOFORM CANADA is seeking a Warehouse Logistics Coordinator. This is a full-time, in-person role with an hourly wage as determined by experience. You will be part of a team making a real difference in people's lives.

The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse management. Most importantly, they will have a strong work ethic, be detail-oriented, as well as have a positive can-do attitude. We are looking for a person that can work with little to no supervision while following all health and safety standards. This position will be in-person.

The Ideal Candidate

Simply put – we are looking for a top-notch a professional who can oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of a wide range of goods. This is a position for someone to generally ensure the security of the stock and the warehouse. Their duties include meeting productivity targets, receiving and dispatching merchandise appropriately, and managing systems processes.

This role reports to the Warehouse Manager.

Responsibilities

Effectively and safely manage the day-to-day warehouse operations including picking, packing, loading, shipping, receiving, and storing per GEOFORM CANADA standards and policies
Ensure that the warehouse complies with safety and health governance (all ESA and OHSA regulations) to maintain the safety of all personnel, equipment, and property
Unload all inbound and outbound items and perform item inspections, while properly reporting and documenting any deficiencies
Issue lists of incoming items and shipments
Continue a well-coordinated reception of all materials, items, and products

Complete month end inventory report for the Warehouse Manager
Oversee all inventory control policies and procedures to maintain inventory accuracy, research any variances and communicate on procedures for the effective handling, storage, and distribution of products
Safeguard delivery deadlines and quality objectives are met
Manage inventory count process for internal or external audits
Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse facility to reflect cleanliness, efficiency, safety, and organization
Effectively communicate inventory levels to the Warehouse Manager and other team members

Qualifications

Must be able to legally work within Canada without need of sponsorship.
2-3 years previous warehouse or inventory management experience, preferred
Forklift certification is a plus, but not required
Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for providing exceptional service
Collaborative team player and strong interpersonal communication skills
A valid, clean Ontario G-class license, nice to have
Exceptional attention to detail and follow-up skills a must
Flexibility to operate shifts during non-traditional business hours/days, as needed
Knowledge of technical processes related to standard warehouse equipment and applications such as racking, warehouse management systems, and material handling equipment
Experience with an ERP system, specifically SAP an asset

Strong working knowledge of the MS Office 360 Suite, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom. Excellent IT and technical skills, especially with spreadsheets and data management. Previous experience with warehouse management software is a bonus, but training is available
Openness to learning new software programs as needed
Ability to type minimum 50 words a minute
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
Robust calendar and email management skills
Possesses strong time management skills; can prioritize work effectively and juggle multiple projects with minimal supervision
A strong command of the English language, both written and spoken, is an essential requirement
Excellent interpersonal skills and a flawless attention to detail that leads to high accuracy
Professional attitude and demeanour
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
